RTLOL TCG Alpha: The Time Is Now
We are thrilled to confirm that Alpha testing for the RTLOL TCG has finally commenced!
As we’ve often made very clear, the team at Raini are fully committed to building throughout the crypto bear market. As such, we are excited to announce that we are now in a position to offer community members the chance to become more active participants in RTLOL’s dev journey.
Come be a part of building and launching one of the greatest games the blockchain world has seen by applying for the Alpha phase of Raini: The Lords of Light’s TCG!
For anyone who missed our recent AMA, RTLOL’s Closed Alpha testing will initially consist of two phases:
- Phase 1 — Closed Alpha — This officially commenced last Friday, 3 June 2022, and is made up of the extended Raini team members, including moderators and strategic partners and VCs. Our current testing team is made up of around 10–15 participants, and will be increased to around double that size over the next week or two.
- Phase 2 — Community Alpha — This is scheduled to commence around the end of this month (June, 2022) and is open for public applications now. There will be no fixed caps or restrictions on participation in this testing round, but we will be preferentially selecting applicants who have been active supporters of Raini or those who are likely to be able to assist us with high quality and quantity of feedback.
If you would like to apply to participate in Phase 2 Alpha testing, please complete the linked application form. - Future Phases — Closed Beta, Open Beta, Full Game & PHOTON Token Launch — All of these milestones are now scheduled to be rolled out between Q3, 2022 and Q1 2023.
While the RTLOL TCG is our flagship game mode, it will sit within a larger Metaverse experience, which we have been simultaneously developing. Infused NFTs will be usable within this Metaverse game to boost $PHOTON earning rates, including the Infused NFT’s that we will be airdropping from Deadly Sins and Andy Thomas — Frogs snapshots, which have both been taken.
Note that these Infused NFTs will be airdropped to eligible wallets before the official launch of the RTLOL Metaverse experience or $PHOTON token, so that you will not miss out on any potential utility from them.
New Card Reveal
For one of our last few teasers for cards in the second drop — Presenting Aurora!
- Classification: Mythic Rainbow Spell
- Play Cost: 4 Colorless Gems + 3 Rainbow Gems
- Game Text: For the remainder of the game, all friendly minions gain +30 Power and +30 HP.
Aurora is one of the only two Mythic cards in this drop. It’s colorful skyline tends to tell a very auspicious tale in Raini lore, and it is not any different in RTLOL. Using Aurora will give a +30 Power and +30 HP minion buff for its owner for the rest of the game, making it an amazing card to have in any deck that can run it.
